Nctosa is one of the Twin Spawn of Cthulhu whom was born from the union of the Slumbering God and his sister turned mate Kassogtha.

Nctosa inherited her father's ability to shape shift, however, due to her being a lesser Great Old One, her shape shifting abilities pale in comparison to those of greater Old Ones. These transformations include various appearances of aquatic marine life, albeit in rather horrendous shapes and forms.

While Nctosa is able to assume any form, her true form consists of her being a huge shell-endowed being, with eight segmented limbs, and six long arms ending with claws. This form is also attributed to her twin sister, Nctolhu.

Nctosa, along with her twin sibling, are currently imprisoned within the Great Red Spot of the planet Jupiter. Although, despite their imprisonment they remain capable of telepathic communication.
